Sarah is an accomplished Masters-qualified professional with extensive experience in; Learning & Development; Organisational Design, project management, change and leadership and strategic planning who has joined the Symmetra team to lead our Project Management function on all our large local and global projects. Her wealth of experience adds great value to our team and enables Symmetra to surpass its promise of service excellence to all.
Sarah has worked for multiple public, private and 3rd sectors throughout the UK .This has been combined with Australian employment within the mining and energy sectors, as a National Learning & Development Manager, a role which came with responsibility for 6,700 staff, and a remit of extensive strategic planning, project management and human centred design. Her role extended to that of L&D representative on the global mental health and wellbeing team.
She utilises a highly practical ‘real world’ and evidence-based approach to all her work combined with very strong interpersonal skills and relationship management. Over and above this Sarah has excellent writing skills having written 18 books covering; leadership, teams, change, project management & development. In addition, she has written peer reviewed academic papers, appearing in the British Journal of Vascular Radiology.
Sarah holds Fellowships of The Institute of Leadership and Management and The Higher Educational Academy.
